Blackboard at Emory - Quicksheet
1. Request a
Blackboard Course Site using the Course Site Request Form
If you would like automatic enrollment, it is helpful if you know your
PeopleSoft course id and section number (ex. ENG101_SEC002; MEDI540_SEC000)
and any cross-listed course ids and sections.
|
2. Access Emory's Blackboard site
http://classes.emory.edu - Log in with your Network ID (ex. jdoe) and password. This is identical to what you would use to log in
to PeopleSoft HR, OPUS, LearnLink, and/or your @emory.edu mail box. Once
logged in, you should see the following Blackboard header. |
3.
Check your Email Address
Blackboard's information is fed directly
from Emory's central database. Under the My Emory tab, click the Verify Personal Info link under the Tools area > click Edit Personal Information.
If it's CORRECT, click the Cancel
button and return to the My Emory tab.
If it's INCORRECT, click the Cancel
button. To change it you'll have to access the the University's PEACH (Preferred Email Address Change Handler) system: https://www.app.emory.edu/peach/.
This will change it campus-wide. You can do this now or later. Once
done, it'll take 24 hours to change within Blackboard.
